After thinking for a moment, Xu Yun turned off the broadband and started checking the status bar again.
The info shown under the mouse pointer was crystal clear.
As soon as the internet connection was cut, the progress bar stopped moving completely.
Xu Yun observed for about half a minute like this, then plugged the network back in.
Soon, the progress bar started moving again.
Xu Yun pinched his chin with his left hand and muttered to himself:
"So… this dumb AI needs to grow by getting information from the internet… or should I say, by getting data bytes?"
Now this is getting interesting.
If you take a year as 365 days, that's 31,536,000 seconds.
And if Xu Yun keeps the internet on 24/7 for a whole year, this dumb AI would reach...
0.0000000000000000000000001%.
There are still twenty-five zeroes to go before 1%, and then from 1% to 100% you need another two digits.
So obviously...
This "automatic growth" should just be like a backup mechanism. Don't expect any miracles.
