The ancient-costumed Ghost realized that no matter how much she shouted, the two were already close to three candles. "Oh." Little Taotie couldn't be bothered to acknowledge her.
Little Taotie carefully held up one candle, watching as the flame flickered gently, as if greeting him.
"Brother, is it you?" Little Taotie seemed to see a flower through the flame, the kind that one of the three brothers wore on his head.
The flame swayed gently again, seeming to respond to Little Taotie's inquiry.
Little Taotie protected the flame and carefully placed it into the Horse-Faced Bell that contained no dry branches, then picked up the second candle.
