Craig Landers asked with concern.
"It's all old problems, no need to worry."
Mr. Lockwood put his book aside and looked at Craig Landers, "But what about you? What have you been busy with lately? You look so haggard."
"Busy looking for a wife."
Craig Landers spoke with a flat tone, as if discussing the weather.
Mr. Lockwood and his wife exchanged a glance, both sighing softly.
"Wayne, you've always been a good child who knows your limits, so your mom and I haven't meddled much since you were little. Now that this has happened, we know you're hurting. But people need to move forward. If Chloe is still alive, she would have returned. You can't remain desolate forever."
Mr. Lockwood patiently advised.
Mrs. Landers' eyes were also red, nodding along beside him.
