Coming out of the mall, Amelia Miles and Sarah Moore both felt quite pleased.
The two of them were carrying quite a few things. Sarah Moore looked at the little one dozing off in her arms and said to Amelia Miles, "Elly, you go on with your work, I'll take Coco back to rest."
Amelia Miles patted the little one's head gently and nodded, "Alright, I've got some things to handle at the company. You take the baby home and rest well."
The way she said it had the feeling of a husband heading off to work while reminding his wife.
Sarah Moore couldn't help but joke, "Yes, hubby."
Amelia was momentarily taken aback, remembering the time when they used to call each other hubby and wifey so intimately, and she couldn't help but giggle.
She leaned closer to Sarah's ear and said, "Kiki, the wheel of fortune indeed turns. It turns out, one day, I can be the head of a household too."
Sarah burst out laughing and gave Amelia a gentle slap.
"Alright, off you go now."
