"Alright."
Amelia Miles saw her father about to protest again and quickly chimed in.
With his daughter stepping in, the father had no choice but to agree.
Hunter Miles moved his lips, swallowing the objection ready to spill from his mouth.
Then Damon Hawke really wrote a note, asking Hunter Miles to pick one.
Hunter looked at this and then at that, finally picking up a note.
Damon Hawke opened the note to find it said early next year.
Hunter's expression wasn't too pleased, clearly not very satisfied.
After all, he planned for his daughter to get married by the end of next year.
"Dad, even after I get married, I'll come back often to keep you company until you find me too annoying to bear."
Amelia Miles comforted with a smile.
She glanced at her younger son and gave him a signal.
The little guy was smart and evidently understood his mother's intent.
So in his childish voice, he said, "Grandpa, my brother and I will often stay at your place until you chase us away."
