Chapter 14 - No one can resist me

The man said in slightly awkward Chinese, "Thirty-eighth floor."

Yun Fangze smiled. "I'm also going to the thirty-eighth floor. May I ask—are you staying at this hotel?"

"Yes," the man replied. "It's an excellent hotel."

"I'm Carmen," Yun Fangze said smoothly. "This hotel is my home. Welcome to Yunshang Hotel. If there's anything we can improve, please feel free to tell me. I'd be very grateful."

"Oh?" The man shrugged lightly. "Yunshang Hotel is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious, and the service is impeccable. Best of all…" His gaze lingered on her. "The owner is so beautiful that I can hardly bear to leave."

So, he was interested.

Yun Fangze returned a charming smile. "It's an honor to have guests like you. I sincerely hope you'll stay with us a little longer."

"If I do," the man said, amused, "would Miss Carmen be willing to be my guide?"

"Of course."

Just then, the elevator stopped and the doors slid open.

The man made an elegant please gesture.

"Thank you." Yun Fangze lifted her chin slightly and stepped out, her waist swaying naturally.

A woman who walked like this could easily take a man's breath away. She rarely moved with such deliberate allure—unless she had met someone worth the effort.

Sure enough, she felt the heat of his gaze on her back.

"Oh, I almost forgot the most important question." She tapped her forehead lightly. "What's your name?"

"David. I'm staying in Room 3809."

"I'm in Room 3818. If you have any questions or requests, feel free to come to me."

"Thank you for your hospitality."

When they reached Room 3809, David stopped. "Miss Carmen—see you next time?"

Yun Fangze glanced back with a smile. "See you next time."

She walked toward the end of the corridor, her figure graceful and confident.

Yunshang Hotel was an international six-star establishment. The top floor consisted entirely of presidential suites. A man staying there was either wealthy or powerful—or both. Of course, Yun Fangze herself lacked neither money nor status. She had never been impressed by wealth alone. But a man with refinement and confidence? That was another matter.

At Room 3818, she pressed her index finger against the fingerprint scanner. A green light flashed, and the door opened.

She didn't enter immediately. Instead, she stood behind the door and silently counted.

One… two… three… four…

When she reached eight, the doorbell rang.

A satisfied smile curved her lips. She waited a few more seconds before opening the door.

David stood outside, holding a keycard. "Miss Carmen, I found this in front of my room. I thought it might belong to you."

She glanced at it and smiled brightly. "That is my room card. I didn't even notice it was missing—I usually use my fingerprint. Thank you so much."

Of course, she had left it there on purpose.

"You're welcome," David replied politely. "If you don't mind, I'd love to thank you by inviting you to dinner tomorrow."

Yun Fangze laughed softly. "There's a saying in our country—it's better to seize the moment than choose another day. I haven't had dinner yet. How about I invite you now? In my room."

David grinned. "I'd be delighted."

The door closed behind them.

Both of them knew exactly what would follow.

A candlelit dinner. Soft conversation. An atmosphere thick with suggestion.

Later, the bathwater steamed, and shadows moved behind the glass—intimate and unhurried.

At the same time, in Yun Fangze's bedroom, Luo Wei slowly opened his eyes. His body felt uncomfortably warm.

The room was dark. Outside the window, the city lights glittered.

It's so late. Fangze still isn't back?

He sat up, removed his clothes, and went barefoot into the living room, intending to take a cold shower.

As soon as he stepped out, familiar, passionate music drifted from the bathroom. It was Carmen—Fangze's favorite song. Carmen was also her favorite female persona, which was why she had chosen that English name.

She's back?

His heart quickened. He crossed the living room and turned the corner.

Through the translucent glass wall of the bathroom, dim light flickered. Water splashed in rhythm with the music.

He imagined Fangze standing beneath the shower, and his temperature spiked instantly.

He moved closer, intending to tease her—

Then he froze.

Behind the glass, a man and a woman were entwined.

They turned toward him in shock.

Luo Wei's mind went blank.

Anger, humiliation, and disbelief surged all at once. His face flushed painfully.

He had always known what kind of woman Yun Fangze was. He had never expected purity or restraint from her. But witnessing this with his own eyes still struck him like a blow.

He turned and walked away.

Why did I come in quietly tonight?

Why did I want to surprise her?

All he felt now was shock and humiliation.

"Wait—"

His wrist was suddenly grabbed.

Yun Fangze's voice, low and intimate, brushed his ear. "Your body's reacting like this. If you ignore it, it'll only hurt. Come on—let me help you. I am a professional, after all."

"Let go!" Luo Wei snapped, struggling.

But she pulled him closer and kissed him before he could escape.

His resistance collapsed.

What followed was something his mind could neither comprehend nor accept—yet his body surrendered completely, overwhelmed by a sensation more intense than any extreme sport he had ever experienced.

By the time it ended, reason had long since dissolved.

Sometime later, he heard the faint rustle of clothing.

He opened his eyes groggily. "Fangze… you're up?"

The man standing before him was tall, with distinctly mixed features.

Fully dressed now, the man smiled politely. "Hi, Luo Wei. I had a wonderful time with you and Carmen last night. You're very attractive. I hope we can spend time together again."

Luo Wei stared at him.

His mind exploded.

He remembered.

Last night—

The three of them had been together.
