"Never a dull moment with you is there? You're making it hard for me to let you go if you should one day beg for me too," said Killian as he watched Amelia bring a box of books to where he sat.
"I don't want to find out my mother is a witch but I wouldn't mind learning that she had put a spell or something on my father. It wasn't fair for her to be sitting quietly while he played in her face. I hope she did something to Annabelle since that woman would not stop taunting my mother," Amelia said.
She had no idea what her mother's train of thought was but hoped whatever it was would play out soon or maybe it did already.
"Being a witch wouldn't be so bad for you-"
Amelia gave Killian a random book since the witch made an appearance in multiple stories. She sat down beside him with the book she was going to read. "I want to be normal. Having a demon fiance is already more than I can handle. I've heard how witches are burned. I don't want to be running away from two fires."
