Elayne gasped as the world continued to warp around her. Magic itself slowly revealed its deeper and more dangerous truth. What the System regulated as simple "MP" and "Magic" stats were nothing more than a surface-level protection against something far more uncontrollable, far wilder, and far less predictable.
The Weave opened fully before her eyes. It was a vast latticework of loose, shifting shape that expanded toward every corner of the observable reality. Even within the deepest layers of the Netherworld it remained present, though in a much wilder and more savage form. Still, it was not beyond her reach.
Then she began remembering what the druids had told her before about Primal Magic and the first true Druids. Was this revelation somehow related to that ancient knowledge? Or was it something entirely different?
