"Mr. Jiang."
At a private club on the Second Ring Road, the Korean Minister of Economy stood up respectfully, slightly bowing his head, as if he were welcoming a head of state.
Apart from him, the only other person in the room did the same, with a straight back but a head bowed even lower.
Jiang Chen entered the room and nodded in greeting.
"Sit."
Even though he said that, it was only after Jiang Chen sat down that the two guests took their seats again.
Economic Minister Zhao Taihe was already an acquaintance; they had met before at a Yixin Club gathering in Korea, and had frequent meetings during the current trilateral talks. However, the middle-aged man with a crew cut beside him was rather unfamiliar.
"Mr. Jiang, this is Colonel Quan Mingjiang, the commander of the First Air Transport Brigade. He just arrived yesterday."
