Night falls, the side courtyard.
Lu Zheng and Si Lingxi sat in the courtyard again, gathered around a small stove in which various vegetables and meats simmered. The red pot released waves of spicy aroma.
"Gurgle gurgle..."
Si Lingxi picked up a piece of boiling snake meat and casually tossed it into her mouth. Her white teeth and fiery red lips made a crunching noise as the snake meat, infused with a trace of spiritual qi, was swallowed down her throat.
Although the day was fulfilling, those ingredients filled with spiritual qi couldn't be eaten at every meal. One reason was that they couldn't be digested, another was that there weren't actually that many!
So even for Si Lingxi, the daily diet mostly contained food with traces of spiritual qi that didn't qualify as spiritual materials.
