All in all there were a few dozen monsters for us to harvest anything and everything from, and the work got divvied up rather quickly since we were operating beneath the moonlight and a few torches, none of us wanting to be out here for longer than we needed.
There were still a few hours left until dawn, and while I definitely wouldn't be against pushing the task of butchering all of these monsters later into the day so that we could go sleep most of us knew that the corpses should be prepared now rather than later.
Even if all we did was get to bleeding them now it would still be a time draining task, but at least we were able to work knowing that we had made ourselves quite a lot of coin and that we were going to be eating good for a little while now.
