"Mommy, are you okay?"
As she spoke, Olivia Thompson reached out to take hold of Annie Anne's arm, her body leaning slightly forward, wanting to get closer to Annie Anne.
But due to her height, Olivia Thompson kept trying to stand on tiptoe.
Holding Olivia Thompson's outstretched palm, Annie Anne gave a gentle tug and lifted her onto the hospital bed, embracing her in her arms.
After pinching her soft cheek, Annie Anne smiled with eyes curved, "Of course Mommy is okay. I'm sorry, did Mommy make Annie worry?"
Faced with Annie Anne's inquiry, Olivia Thompson nodded without hesitation, then hugged Annie Anne and rested her cheek in her arm crook.
"Annie wants Mommy to be healthy."
Caressingly stroking Olivia Thompson's hair, Annie Anne lowered her eyes slightly, full of tenderness.
Then she lifted her head and looked towards Charlotte Thompson, "Charlotte, you're here to get Grace's test results today, right? How did it go?"
