Even with heightened information transfer through nonverbal communication, it took a while to cover every important event that had happened since their departure. He especially took his time to explain the conflict with the arakai, how it had commenced with an operation to Planet Amadeus that escalated with his personal intervention. How his attempt to isolate human civilization away from the conflict had ultimately failed, leading to all out war between the two species.
The Transcendents reacted with surprise more than once. The size of Arakai Web Civilization boggled their minds, as did the number of Transcendents they had. The new Realms of power that Rui had created, the new sources of power, the drastically accelerated Martial Path progression in the modern era. All of these were truly bewildering pieces of knowledge to each of the Martial Transcendents.
