"How did you find out."Vera asked suprised with Bella's question.
"I actually remembered." Bella said casually before munching on her chips.
Vera and the Twins looked really confused.
"You did?" Kayden asked.
"Yes, I woke up this evening and I suddenly remembered everything." Bella said cracking another chips.
Vera's eyes immediately became teary after listening to what Bella told her
"How much do you remember?" Jayden asked.
"Everything." Bella replied with a smile.
"I guess I'll have to change my major." Jayden said
"But how, how come you remember all of a sudden." Kayden asked
"Well I actually had an emotional breakdown this morning. I guess it's because I woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Bella said looking at Chris with a smirk.
Everyone's attention was now focused on her.
"So I went to take my bath and passed out then I had a dream, no it eventually became a nightmare because I remembered the scene of the accident in detail. It felt like a dream but I knew it wasn't. I woke up and started remembering past events." Bella explained.
Vera had tears in her eyes. She stood up from where she sat and hugged her daughter. The twins also did the same. Bella couldn't help the tears that started streaming down her eyes.
"I told you guys. If you had told me about the accident seven years ago I probably would have never lost my memories to begin with." Bella said
"Am sorry I hid it from you darling." Vera said holding her daughter's hands in admiration.
"It's fine mum, I know you did it out of love. I don't blame you." Bella said smiling.
"I have to inform Tatiana tomorrow morning." Vera said
"Yes mum." Bella replied smiling.
Bella was starting to feel sleepy so she decided to head upstairs.
"Goodnight guys." Bella said, kissing her mum and the twins on the cheek before leaving.
Bella felt a hand on her wrist pulling her back.
"Don't I get a goodnight kiss too? Chris asked with a puppy face.
"Jealous as much." Bella said scoffing with an eye roll before giving him a peck on his lips as she ran upstairs.
Bella heard the door open soon after she came in.
"Mum, I didn't know you were sleepy too." Bella said
"I was already dozing off. Vera said smiling at her daughter.
Bella could see that look on her face. It was the look her mum usually have on whenever she wants to gossip.
"What is it mum?" Bella said smiling.
"You know what it is Ella." Vera said wiggling her brows
Bella knew she wanted to know what was up between her and Chris but she wasn't planning to tell her a thing if she's wasn't been straight forward so Bella decided to play dumb.
"I don't know what your talking about mum." Bella said climbing into the bed.
"It about you and Christian." Vera said wiggling her brows and smiling brightly.
"God! You act like a sixteen years old sometimes." Bella said smiling
"So tell me Ella." Vera said with a pleading look.
"Well mum, the truth is that I still don't know what we are because we haven't defined our relationship but we do have a spark." Bella said blushing really hard before burying her face in the pillow
Very moved closer and lifted Bella's body so Bella could look at her.
"Ella, do you love him?" Vera asked, concerned.
"Honestly mum love is a very strong word. I'm certain I like him in a romantic way but love? Am not so sure about that." Bella thought to herself.
"Honestly mum, I don't know." Bella said rubbing her neck slightly.
"You don't know?" Vera asked looking confused.
"Yes mum, I don't know. I mean am attracted to him and I really do like him as a person. He's nice, smart, intelligent and of course bossy sometimes but above all he cares about me. He said he loves me mum, he has said it countless times and I somehow believe him because no matter how much I pushed him away, he's always there. Have never been in a relationship before so I don't know what it feels like to be in love. How do you know mum?" Bella asked out of curiosity.
"You just know my darling. No questions asked. You just know you love that person." Vera said studying Bella's face.
"You know you don't have to feel pressured, plus have seen the way Chris looks at you, he adores you a lot and I have no doubt that he loves you." Vera said holding Bella's hands
"Thanks mum." Bella said hugging her mum.
"So now that you've regained your memory it's high time I scolded you for been so irresponsible at such a young age." Vera said glaring at her daughter.
"Mum , I'm no longer seventeen." Bella said laughing before standing up from the bed to avoid her mum's wrath
"And just so you know we had sex." Bella told her mum with a smirk.
"Again?" Bella asked with a wide eyes.
"Mum, you're making me feel embarrassed." Bella said blushing slightly.
"I hope you know what you're doing Ella." Bella's mum said with a concerned look.
"It just happened mum." Bella said rubbing my neck awkwardly.
"I just don't want you to regret anything. Think about things carefully before making a decision." Vera advised her daughter.
"Ok mum." Bella said hugging her mum before turning of the bedside lamp as she climbed into her own side of the bed.
"Goodnight mum." Bella said
"Goodnight princess." Vera replied.
