(After a few days of living in their lives as if swamped in work,...)
Noah: (in distance..) Hey!! Pass it here, hurry! Noooooooo, idiot, can't you f**king see me?!! Run, run, I'll go back around, waitt, yess there there there...(continues..)
Ashley and her 2 other society friends (ps: one of them works with her in the same company, same department) were sitting on benches, walking around, talking about life and work and all, and sat on swings too. Then, out of old memories and boredom, they start playing the "Truth and Dare" game.
Hazel(friend 1): I'll start..1,2,3.
Lucas(friend 2): Next is me! 4,5.
Ashley: Hey! This isn't fair...I suggested this game and you both know that I enjoy the safe middle spot!!!!
Hazel: Dude, yet stuck on that stupid logic?...Fine, let her go on then.
Lucas: Fine, go second. 3 is done.
Ashley: Thanksss, that's not stupid at all by the way. I'll say, 4,5,6.
Lucas: Now, 7,8.
(....)
Hazel: 19,.... (Ashley vigorously shaking her head to a no, Lucas with a wicked grin and desperation, nodding a yes___Author POV: almost like thy are so into the game that have completely forgotten that it was just a game.) and, Aaaassshhh, I'm not sorry, 20!
Ashley: Urgghhhhhhhh! Fineee, wait for your turn girl...21....
Hazel & Lucas: Yessss (loud and happy)
Hazel: Pick, truth or dare?
Ashley: Truth it is!
Lucas: Hey, that's boring...don't be a spoil-sport, choose a dare, it's easy and perfect for you, don't think too much, it's just a game.
Hazel: Exactly, you always choose truth,..this time, you have to try a dare and suffer a punishment if you fail to complete task or reveal that it was a game.
Ashley: Okay, you guys don't leave me an option. (bit tensed and nervous voice-) Lucas, looks like you are plotting something, you better not act all smart! Seems like you had a plan or so.
Lucas: Hazel, lemme give her this one, you'll like it too, I promise. Ok, so, Ash, your dare is- go near the turf in the visibility of the players, get their attention by cheering for someone known calling out their name and act cute or sexy-your choice in that. Don't try to deny it, or else you will have worse punishment and we will watch you do the task from afar.
Ashley: What if there is no one over there whom i know? Then, I'll skip the name screaming part maybe? I'll go right now..
Lucas and Hazel: Let's go then!
They go to the turf, Ashley praying to God in her mind... and Ashley recognizes Noah and his friends which frustrates her somewhat and in the background, we hear Lucas and Hazel giggling, saying perfect and exchanging a high-five.
Ashley: Noah! (not very loud)
Hazel: (whispers from a corner) Louder girl. Just like you scream on us...😂🤪
Ashley: Noah!! (loud but not loud enough to be heard by them admist an aggressive match of football)
Hazel: (to Lucas standing beside her) Her stupid-a** won't do this! "Noah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (too loud, almost everyone hear it loud and clear even miles away..uhhum maybe bit exaggerated)
Ashley: (flinched a bit) (whispers towards her sneaky friends) (but irritated tone) Helloo...that was a bit too much!
Both together: (point hurriedly towards the turf and say in low voice) Do your task!!!!
Ashley, clenching her jaw, mouths- wait till I get back at y'all; turns to the front, all eyes on her and starts her dare. She starts acting cutesy, making hearts, puppy eyes, Flirtatious or coquettish manner- "You are so hot! You play great...Go on, you must win!! You got it! Love ya!!" Everyone stunned, trying to figure out what just happened, some smiling, some judging, some with mouth wide open and out of them, some faces awestruck.
Lucas and Hazel loved her acting and started laughing. Ashley stood there dazed and statue-like, when reality hit her again and she cringed hard. She turned and walked fast without looking or listening to anyone, right till she entered her house.
Noah: (shocked and curious about a sudden weird confession? or maybe not?) Ummm, thankss..? Heyy, wait....(tried running behind her but couldn't catch up to her on time)
His team and other friends who witnessed this: Woooaaahhhhhh!!! WOOOOOHHHHH, go! go! go!
Lucas and Hazel see Ashley being blushed, embarrassed and flustered, running away as if she got caught red-handed committing some horribly forbidden crime and laugh hard till their cheek and stomach starts hurting and then, they soon part ways, returning to their own home.
