Chapter 42 - Chapter 41: Nora Sullivan's Sympathy Marketing, Little Brother Raises Havoc in the Varley Clan

Sarah Sullivan sighed, "That's really not necessary. Your brother-in-law is... not very talkative. I'm afraid you'll be bored spending time with him."

But Arthur Thompson was insistent. "Sis, just let me go see him. Plus, I can help you lie to Dad. If you don't let me see him, I'll call Dad over right now!"

Sarah Sullivan was defeated.

She feared nothing and no one—except Victor Thompson's nagging.

In order to avoid her adoptive father's rambling, Sarah and Arthur joined forces to set Victor Thompson up on at least six blind dates.

Ms Valois, who sells tofu in East Village, Autumn, the neighbor's wife who's a master with the needle, Mr Quinn, who teaches painting at the local cultural center... They all thought Victor Thompson was fine, didn't mind his lack of money, and were willing to marry him.
