Sarah Sullivan sat on the chair, watching William Varley kneel in front of her, licking her shoes.
He licked carefully and seriously.
In no time, the shoe surface was cleaned.
"And the soles too," Sarah Sullivan instructed.
So William Varley could only continue licking the soles.
"Why not wag your tail? Although I know you don't have one, you should still try to wag your butt, put on a show of enjoying and flattering! Let me tell you, it's not just humans experiencing burnout; dogs are too. If you don't try hard, even dogs will lose their jobs. You'll turn from a watchdog, a house dog, into a stray dog, a wild dog."
Sarah Sullivan continued to train William Varley.
William Varley could only miserably wag his butt.
Pretending he really had a tail.
Annie Lee standing beside was too scared to say a word.
Afraid that the turmoil might affect her too.
Thinking she should mimic something as well.
Like a chicken?
Though she's a chicken, she really can't lay eggs!
