Chapter 1 - chapter 0.0.0.0.1 the arrival.

"don't you think the princess is a bit different from the other kids.?"

said one of the maids who works on the princess castle. as the other maid listen in disbelief she stated.

"stop. do you want to have your tongue cut off. don't talk about the princess like that."

"Marie, your so serious. even if we talk about her she won't be able to hear us. she don't have a magic so she can't hear us using hearing enhancement."

Marie just look away with a dead expression and continue with her work. leaving the other maid behind.

Marie went to the head maids office after and knock on the door.

"this is Marie."

she stated as she tap her knuckle on the door.

"I have something to report regarding the new hire servants."

"you may enter."

an elderly voice was heard through the door.

Marie opened the door revealing a woman sitting in front of her mountains of document.

"this Bach is a failure as well."

"I see. it can't be helped. the Onder from the princess has to be prioritized. your self was all to familiar with a reason why the princess ordered us to do this."

she explained as she took of her glasses and held it in her hands. looking at Marie.

"I understand. as the princess's will I will risk my life for her."

Marie said with conviction in her voice.

"it seems like you still have a long way to go Marie."

the head maid closes her eyes. as the other was confused at what she had stated.

"the princess make all the trouble to train us all, her servants to combat, not for us to sacrifice our self for her, but to have fight with the thought of surviving and staying by her side."

the older lady sigh and stood up slowly placing her glasses on the table and walk in front of the window she now facing.

Marie stare at her back as Marie understood what she had said and felt an overwhelming warmth and a rush of tears inside her, her head hung low and look at the floor.

'so her highness was doing this for this purpose. I didn't even realize it.'

she thought as tears started to fall. she felt ashamed, and foolish. she knew that the princess was not the other noble people she had met before who look down to commoners and treat them as a peasant.

"yes. now that I have better understanding of what her highness intentions are. I swear to gods that I will get stronger and fulfil anything that she wished for."

Marie's eyes are full of resolve. the elder one looked at her dearly, sympathetic to what she is feeling.

"I will observe more of the new servants and give you a complete report about each one. I will excuse my self."

Marie excused her self to continue her job.

as she walk out the door the head maid reminisce of the moment the princess deliver the order.

10 years ago. the princess was just 3 years old, when she demanded to see our knight and wanting to go to the training grouwneds.

after she ordered to strengthen our knights, she also told us that every servant of the castle must learn combat skills and it wound be needed requirements for everyone. people who disagree decided to leave and transfer to the other royal castle. but those who remain and trained understood what the princess meant not long after. her life was once again threatened. and all of us came to her rescue because we could.

the princess was always been this way even after she was born. she don't cry and always distant. and act like a Norman functioning adult. always looking at a far away place, somewhere, where no one can see but her. her blank stares sometimes looks so sad, and mutter the words like. 'this in not the place.' or 'they're not here as well.'.

come to think of it the princess was not always like this. I was there when she was born from the late queen, her voice when she cried was loud. but after her first night. everything change.

in the morning the servants discover the queen's dead body on the flour reaching out for the little princess's crib. and all of the other guards corpse. only the princess survived 'mystirously', her cloths was covered in blood but no found in her body. and since then, we never heard her cry ever again.
