The male actor didn't know if the assistant thought he was lame, but instead believed his words had worked and took out his phone to transfer money to the assistant.
"Your payment account?"
The assistant looked at him, touched her nose, just about to refuse, when she heard a voice coming from her phone, which she had held up to her ear the whole time.
"I'll double it for you, quickly report that someone is harassing Charlotte Allison." Lucas Quinn's voice came through eerily, his tone very unfriendly.
Only then did the assistant realize the phone call hadn't ended, and all her conversation with the man was overheard, she quickly explained, "I, I didn't mean to let him in."
The man looked at the assistant in confusion, then quickly saw the door in front of him slam shut with a "bang—".
The assistant said to the phone, "I closed the door."
"Alright, don't tell Charlotte Allison about this, okay?" Lucas Quinn said.
"Got it." The assistant nodded obediently.
