Opposite them were two girls, and when they saw Charlotte Allison turning back to consult, their faces turned red.
Their eyes seemed like they were about to scream.
"May I?" Charlotte Allison asked again.
"Y-yes, of course." The two girls snapped out of it and handed the lantern to Charlotte Allison.
After thanking them and paying the bill, Charlotte turned back and handed the handmade lantern to Lucas Quinn.
"I wanted to give it to you," she said, even though Lucas still accepted the little rabbit lantern. He looked at it left and right, finding it quite novel.
Charlotte looked at him and asked, "Do you like it?"
"It's pretty nice." Lucas had never handled these paper-made items before. After looking at it for a while, he wasn't sure where to put it, always feeling it might easily get damaged wherever it was placed.
