Charlotte Allison stayed at the Sheldon Family's house on New Year's Eve, and Mrs. Sheldon couldn't hide her joyful smile.
She personally arranged a well-lit room for Charlotte, chose pajamas and placed toiletries, and quietly decided that this room would be reserved for Charlotte in the future.
"There are still many things to add, we'll do it gradually," Mrs. Sheldon murmured to herself.
Molly overheard the matriarch's muttering and laughed, saying, "Madam, you have plenty of time to add things slowly."
"Yes, plenty of time," Mrs. Sheldon was delighted, "Come on, let's go see if the old man is about to lose to Charlotte again in chess?"
The next morning, during breakfast at the Sheldons', visitors started arriving to pay New Year's respects, and Charlotte left after eating.
Mrs. Sheldon and Mr. Sheldon were chatting with the visitors when Evelyn Sheldon saw her off.
