When the call connected, George Allison heard the noisy background on the other end, as if surrounded by a crowd.
"Brother," Charlotte Allison's voice came through.
"Charlotte, where are you? Why is it so noisy there?"
"I'm at Sea City's amusement park watching the fireworks display," Charlotte Allison replied, smiling for a kid's camera nearby.
"Are you coming home tonight?" He naturally knew his sister wouldn't just go watch fireworks by herself; it was for that boyfriend of hers.
George Allison felt uneasy at once.
His sister never treated him this well; not to mention, he'd never flown to Sea City or even seen a fireworks show in Kingstown.
Feeling sour, George Allison mentally knocked points off of Lucas Quinn.
"Yes, after the fireworks, we'll head back to Kingstown. Tomorrow, I need to go to the Sheldon Family, and I'll take him with me," Charlotte said.
"Hmm?" The Sheldon Family? Bringing along the guy who stole his sister away!
