Charlotte Allison, having just left the meeting room, was informed by Ivy Price that Zoe Meyer was still waiting for her in the lobby downstairs.
Charlotte checked the time; it was already after work hours, and she had only twenty minutes to eat before she had another meeting to attend.
"No need to pay her any attention," she said indifferently and returned to her office.
Ivy also went back to her office. Looking at the two take-out meals on her desk, she thanked the person who brought them and prepared to take them to George Allison's office to eat with him but was stopped.
"Ivy, aren't we going to do anything about Miss Meyer over there? It's after work hours now, and she's still downstairs. Many employees have seen her, and there are quite a few discussions going on in the company chat groups." The assistant was quite popular and had joined many department groups and some private little groups.
She had just roughly browsed through them and saw many people discussing.
