Allen had this thought, and so did Olivia, so they quickly reached an agreement.
"Let's settle this privately first, and once my hand has fully healed, we'll tell the family," Olivia reminded.
If the family found out that she and Allen had agreed to this marriage, who knows what kind of uproar there would be.
She wanted a peaceful recovery, so this matter should wait until her hand was healed.
Full recovery would take about three months, and by then, once they were swiftly married, she'd have to return to the rescue team, and this was typically their busiest season.
"Alright." Allen understood Olivia's considerations and wasn't in any rush, so he could cooperate.
"Before both families know, if anything changes, we can always communicate. You know, once we're married, discussing a divorce becomes difficult," Olivia said.
The two of them represented two families. Once married, they couldn't consider divorce, if only for the families' sake.
"Yes, I understand." Allen replied.
