Grace Harrington, with her ridiculous excuses, incited the gathered crowd to jeer:
"What's this? Can't handle losing?"
"Exactly, everyone in the group agreed, we're all witnesses. You said you'd smash the car if you lost, and Penn and the others said they'd streak. Now, why won't you own up to it?"
"So much nonsense. If you can't play, just say it. If you had won, Penn, Gavin, and the others would have started streaking without a word. Why are you making excuses now?"
