Entering the coffee shop, she immediately saw Martin Fernandez sitting in the center. He wore a suit, and although he was of mixed race, his features leaned more towards the gentle and warm Oriental side.
"Mr. Allison, please sit down." He smiled.
"Hello, Mr. Fernandez." Charlotte Allison sat down.
"What would Mr. Allison like to drink?" Martin asked.
"A double espresso, please." She replied.
Martin ordered someone to prepare it.
While waiting for the coffee, the two had already started talking.
"I know Mr. Allison still has plans ahead, so let's not waste time and get straight to the point," Martin said. "Presumably, you've guessed that I have connections with the Shadow League, and also that Sarah Joseph's recent mishap is related to me."
"Yes, I have guessed it." Charlotte looked at Martin with cold eyes, "Mr. Fernandez, may I ask why you approached Sarah?"
