Friday.
Mr. Ross arrived in Kingstown and had lunch at the Kingstown Hotel with the Sheldon Family and the Allison Family. This was the first official meeting between the two families.
When lunch was over, Mr. Sheldon warmly invited Mr. Ross to the Sheldon Family home for tea and a chat, saying they should properly discuss and plan the two kids' marriage.
This was exactly the main purpose of Mr. Ross's trip, so he rode back to the Sheldon Family home with Mr. Sheldon, the two elders chatting about family matters and everything under the sun all the way there.
Even Mr. Grey, who had come to Kingstown with Mr. Ross, couldn't help sighing: Mr. Sheldon really was a remarkable character, able to make Mr. Ross—someone who could go a whole week without talking if it wasn't necessary—talk nonstop. He'd almost used up his quota of conversation for the entire month.
