Whenever Martin had any spare time, he would look over at Sarah, and when their eyes met, he always smiled warmly, his gaze so tender it made her heart feel as soft as if a kitten's paw had touched it; even when their eyes didn't meet, she could still feel him watching her.
Sarah thought Martin was already quite clingy, but then when she saw Lucas appear behind Charlotte again to change her drink to a cup of warm water, she felt that Martin was actually quite normal.
"Tired? Do you want to go home and lie down for a bit?" Lucas asked Charlotte softly, having already tidied up the Quinn Family residence, so Charlotte could go back to rest at any time.
"I'm not tired." Charlotte didn't want to emphasize that she was already resting.
