Henry Shipton didn't ask much, and the two returned quietly to Heven Entertainment.
Ann Morris kept her head down, so much so that Henry didn't notice her increasingly pale face and forehead covered in cold sweat. As he gentlemanly opened the rear car door for her, she almost stumbled out of the car, but he quickly reached out to steady her.
Accidentally touching her icy fingers, he noticed her unusual condition: "Ann Morris?"
"I'm fine, it's just my stomach acting up." Ann wasn't used to close contact with others, but at this moment, both her stomach illness and low blood sugar flared up, making her dizzy and weak, and requiring Henry's support.
Henry sent her back into the car: "I'll take you for lunch."
It was almost one o'clock by now, and with a stomach illness, skipping meals wasn't an option.
Ann Morris: "I have some bread in my car, I'll eat a bit and recover."
