Polly Sutton had to hurry to revise the design. As for what Victor Parker was up to, she didn't have time to care. She did notice many people heading outside.
"I saw cars heading to the airport; probably something big happened somewhere again," Grace Yates glanced outside.
Polly used to get nervous, but now she's calm. She didn't even lift her head, continuing her work.
Victor Parker returned very late. Grace was asleep on the sofa, and Polly was also asleep at the table.
Design drafts were scattered all over the floor. Jonathan Jones said something to Victor and then left with Grace.
Victor Parker bent down to pick up the papers from the ground. They weren't design lines but pieces of formulas. The person calculating seemed very anxious, the handwriting was chaotic.
Almost every page looked the same. Victor gathered all the drafts, organized them, and set them aside, then went to lift her up.
