Captains log date April 11th 2022
Things have gotten... weird. The scientists have thought it a good idea to send in a test subject. This was to see if the effect would spread to him from the others, or if they could be let out and more loosely monitored as the quarantine and lockdown are putting everyone on edge. So far nothing has happened to him but the others are acting very strange. Lucas has begun to shy away from light sources, he tried to shut off the lights but the other girls didn't like that after a while. The girls can be very like minded triplets at times, but it was creepy to watch them go from slightly agitated to all moving at once Nami going for the lights while Misha and Juniper carried a sleeping Lucas into one of the closets and leaving him in the dark alcove. It was like they were communicating telepathically, but the scientists passed that off as a sibling phenomenon after looking at their records. Yeah we had all seen them work together on something seamlessly but this time felt different. As if actual words were exchanged rather than an unconscious link of ideals. They didn't even look at each other. But as soon as the lights were on all three happily went their separate ways Juniper lying beneath the light fixture. Misha heading towards the bath and Nami sitting between the open door and her sisters simply watching them both. We sent Ben, the test subject, to go check on Lucas but he was relatively fine, glowing a lot more than before, but fine. The past few days Misha hasn't really been getting out of the tub growing her roots and even getting more of them. We tried to take her out of the tub but Nami and Juniper were not having it, while not necessarily violent they lifted the people off their feet and tossed them out of the room. They certainly couldn't do that before maybe Lucas, he was always the strong type. There has only been one other problem lately, it's the one that concerns me the most. Though we have been giving them ample food they have been eating less and less and have been moving around very little. Though they have all been comuniacting with Ben out loud I feel it is more to make him feel included rather than out of necessity. The girls have been talking the most, with Juniper talking with Ben alot where as Lucas has slowly become more nocturnal we believe the girls communicate with him through telepathy as they will look at the door of the closet as if concerned then mollified and go back to what they were doing. We have tried to get Ben to confirm this with either the girls or Lucas but whenever he asks they are vague saying something like we just know he is alright. When going to check on Lucas after these encounters he was always found deeply asleep saying he didn't know anything. While it would be cool to have a telepathic bond with my crew I would really rather they just go back to normal.
