Jun Ning seemed a bit uncomfortable. She shoved Ye Ying in front of her. Ye Ying was slightly sobered by the push, and a bit of the rationality suppressed by emotions returned, adding some clarity to his previously hazy and distracted eyes.
"Xiao Er..." Jun Ning murmured again in a daze.
This call brought Ye Ying completely back to his senses.
He glanced at Jun Ning, whom he had bullied. Her red lips were moist, her skin fair and beautiful, still an alluring sight tempting one to pluck her beauty.
But now he had no such thoughts at all. Instead, he was angry and ashamed, blaming himself for the wrongs he committed in his heated state. He slapped himself hard and then carefully covered Jun Ning with a blanket before hurriedly leaving the Imperial Study Room.
As he was leaving, he instructed the eunuch guarding the door to go in and attend to her, and to prepare some sobering soup.
Ye Ying left then and never appeared again.
