Chapter 1 - 1 Secret Admirer

Laura Francis is a talented artist who is very beautiful, tall, slim, and humble. One day she accidentally met a handsome, authoritative, and sweet man at her best friend's wedding reception.

The two met there and the man fell in love at first sight with Laura. The man's name is Felix Ireland Lynch, the older brother of Laura's best friend, Leah.

Laura came to the wedding with Aldrich, a man she had just met on the set. Aldrich was not an actress like Laura, but he was handsome and cool enough to be Laura's partner that night.

Aldrich was no ordinary man, he was a Vampire who lived with his family in the castle. Aldrich is also one of Laura's fans because of her extraordinary acting in the soap opera Four Seasons in London.

Laura's unusual encounter with Felix at Leah's wedding reception, would Aldrich withdraw from Laura?

Felix was very happy when he found out that he would move to London and working as a lecturer in London had always been his dream.

In addition, he would soon be reunited with his family who have settled in London.

He is very handsome, intelligent, tall, friendly, fair skinned, and humble. Until at the age of 30 he didn't have a girlfriend at all.

Felix's parents always reminded him to get married soon made Felix bored.

He didn't know how to explain to his mom and dad that he wasn't ready for it, and after all he hadn't found someone he was comfortable with during his work and stay at Cambridge.

Indeed, among some of his students there were those who like Felix, but he only considered them as his younger siblings.

Felix hoped that after moving to London he would no longer be asked to get married quickly by anyone including Felix's parents.

Felix, who previously applied to be a lecturer at Quinlan University in London wasn't sure if he would be accepted to work there because according to information from Felix's younger sister, all the lecturers who taught at the university had extraordinary qualities and abilities.

Leah, Felix's younger sister even wanted to continue her master's education at that university. Unfortunately, Leah's parents did not support her wishes because they were constrained by the high cost.

Indeed, the Lynch family was not a wealthy family so Leah's parents could not afford Leah's postgraduate education, moreover they also still had to pay for Georgia and Alvin's schooling, who was still in grades 1 and 3 of high school at that time.

Felix and Leah had dreams of becoming the best lecturer and postgraduate student at Quinlan University, but Leah's hopes were dashed. She ended up working at a cafe and met Smith at the cafe.

After learning that Felix would be moving to London soon, Felix told Lea who lived in London.

Felix texted Leah.

[Leah, I will live in London next month.]

Ten minutes had passed but Leah had not replied to Felix's message. It was still 1 pm, when people were busy in the office, while Felix was waiting for the next teaching schedule in the lecturer's room.

Not long after, Felix suddenly heard a knock on the door from outside his room. Knock ... knock ... knock.

Felix got up from the chair, then opened the door for the person. Felix was very surprised when he saw the person standing in front of him turned out to be one of Felix's students.

"Isabelle?? What's wrong? Why did you suddenly meet me here?" Felix asked in surprise.

"I am sorry, Sir. I interrupted your time for a moment. Can I speak to you here?" Isabelle felt very embarrassed for Felix.

"Do you want to talk to me? All right, come on in."

The student's name is Isabelle, she is 21 years old. She is sweet, petite, and quiet. Isabelle rushed into Felix's room, then Felix closed the door and invited his student to sit down.

"Please have a seat, Isabelle."

"Thank you, Sir."

Now, they both sat facing each other with questions in their heads.

"What do you want to talk to me about? I don't have much time because I still have to teach at 2 o'clock," said Felix.

"Look, I heard you are moving to London next month," Isabelle replied, her voice sounding hesitant and a little scared.

"So, what if I move to London? Do you mind if I move there?" Felix asked confused.

"I don't mind you moving to London but ... what about my sister?" Isabelle ventured to discuss personal matters with her lecturer.

"Your sister? I really don't understand what you mean," Felix replied, getting more confused.

"I am sorry if I am presumptuous to talk about this with you, but actually my sister has had feelings for you for a long time," Isabelle was blunt.

"Apparently there is a secret admirer. Are you the same as your sister?" Felix asked.

"No, I am not the same as my sister. I like your way of teaching us, but that doesn't mean I like you," Isabelle explained.

"If I may know, what is your sister's name? And why does your sister like me?" Felix was very curious.

"My sister's name is Evelyn. My sister is an old friend of yours from high school. Do you remember?"

"Evelyn? My high school friend? I don't remember at all. Sorry, I can't talk to you any longer because I have to prepare materials for the next class," Felix said.

"Alright, thank you for your time. I hope you will visit my house to meet Evelyn," Isabelle replied hopefully.

"I can't promise, Isabelle," Felix said.

"Once again I am sorry, I just want to convey Sis Evelyn's heart to you. Then I'll go home first."

"Give my regards to your sister," Felix replied with a faint smile.

Bella nodded at Felix, after talking to her favorite lecturer she went home disappointed because next month she would not see that lecturer again.

Isabelle hoped that one day Felix and Evelyn could unite and become part of the Lewis family.

Would Evelyn be able to meet Felix again after they graduated from high school twelve years ago?
