After leaving Chi Shao's place, Jiang Xuan returned to his courtyard.

"Leader, you're back."
Dong Kui smiled brightly at Jiang Xuan while sweeping the fallen leaves in the courtyard.
"These leaves fall every day; you don't need to sweep so diligently."
"I'm waiting for the leader in the courtyard. Since I have nothing else to do, I'm sweeping as I wait."
Dong Kui swept all the fallen leaves into a pile and then placed them on the edge of the vegetable garden using a woven basket made of vines, allowing them to decay and serve as fertilizer.
"Did you need to see me for something?"
Jiang Xuan walked over to the pool to wash the mud off his hands.
