Bane's name is too resonant, so as soon as they learned that all goblins would be under his control, rulers who never cared about those happy little potatoes running wild in the fields would probably suffer a big financial bleed.
From now on, lords will have to periodically pay a bounty to clear out goblins.
The Toril Gods who are staying in the Divine Kingdom must be sending messages to their followers right now... Anyway, no one would have any opinion on such messages flying around uncontrollably on that frequency-leaping Weave.
Even if it landed in the hands of enemy followers, it wouldn't matter. Who could possibly have a good relationship with Bane?
