Ms. Ning gave me three days of free activity, so my team and I decided to volunteer at the "Selfless Home" she founded.
The "Selfless Home" was established by Ms. Ning.
At its inception, she was moved by a kind-hearted lady, whom Ms. Ning had known since childhood. At that time, the lady and her partner, along with some friends, took care of hundreds of stray cats and dogs. Despite their own difficult living conditions, they never considered neglecting these furry children.
Ms. Ning said she was deeply moved. At that moment, she had some money on hand, so she founded the "Selfless Home," dedicated to caring for stray animals.
Over the years, "Selfless Home" developed with Ms. Ning, expanding from Jincheng to Beijing, and throughout the country. It has grown to be more than just a place for homeless stray animals.
It also takes in people who need care.
"No self, no person, no sentient beings, no lifespan." This phrase is from the Mahayana classic, the Diamond Sutra.
