Then, Luffy suddenly got angry and started scolding.
"Robin, how could you not trust me? Even if I were weak, do you think I would've abandoned you?"
Hearing his words, Robin smiled and said.
"Luffy, you forgot my feelings. When I joined the crew, I was a Devil's child. I wanted a safe place to live, and you gave me that safety."
"But this safe place came with many trials. I didn't want your crew to become a new victim of my curse. But you proved to me that I wasn't a curse."
"But that made me doubt my weight, my existence on the ship. I didn't want to be denied, forgotten. I had only gone on one big adventure, and even then, it wasn't any dangerous for us."
"So, the fear that I will be left behind never disappeared. That's why I confessed to you. I was afraid that others would see me in the wrong way after my confession."
"But no one did. They understood my situation and supported me. You understood my feelings and helped me. Although it worked out, it didn't change my intentions."
Hearing her apologetic words, Luffy wrapped his fingers around her fingers and said.
"Robin, you asked for help, and I helped. That's all."
Robin nodded her head. She placed her head on his shoulder and continued.
"Unlike me, that Robin wasn't between powerful crewmates. For her, staying in the crew would only be a burden to you."
"But I am her. I understand her mindset. She left your crew to save you because she truly didn't want you to sacrifice yourself for her."
"Of course, just like me, she also didn't understand the true meaning of crewmate in this ship. But it also helped her understand that she had friends, a family, and a place to live."
"But this also means she wouldn't confess to you, right?"
Luffy pouted and nodded his head.
"In fact, in that world, I am the same as I started my journey. So, even if you did, I wouldn't understand much. I couldn't even understand Hancock's intention."
Hearing his words, Usopp spoke.
"This reminds me. Liam told us that Hancock will fall in love with Luffy if they meet. Will it happen here as well?"
Robin snorted as she pinched Luffy's stomach with Armament Haki-coated fingers.
"Robin!"
Luffy shouted in shock. He looked at her finger and turned his eyes towards hers.
Looking at her deep black eyes, he whispered.
"Don't worry, the only person I love is you."
"Wow!"
As soon as he said that, Robin blushed and turned her head away while Nami whistled.
"But seriously? Will it happen?" Usopp curiously asked while looking at Liam.
Liam nodded his head and said.
"There are two conditions to win her heart. First, ignore her charm. Second, attack Celestial Dragon."
"I won't explain the second condition. But the first condition is absolutely necessary."
"Among the four Empresses of Lily, every Empress will fall in love with the person who ignores her the most."
"Shakky was known as the most beautiful woman. Even the Pirate King Gol D Roger was head over heels for her. Even her bounty poster had bounty."
"But the only person resistant to her charm was Rayleigh, and so, she fell in love with him. Gloriosa fell in love with Gol D Roger but couldn't get him."
"So while Shakky aged like a fine wine, Gloriosa turned into a five-foot-tall old woman. Her previous beauty is no less than Robin's and Nami's."
"What?"
Everyone shouted in absolute shock. Only Kuma remained calm as he had gone through that era and knew these things.
Liam nodded his head and said.
"In fact, you might not know this, but there is a curse in this world. If you fulfill your dream, you will age like a fine wine. But if you can't fulfill your dream, you will be a rotten potato."
"If Sanji fulfills his dream, he will age like Zeff. If he can't fulfill his dream, he will age like Judge."
When he said that, Sanji's expression turned grim as he said.
"It seems like I have to fulfill my dream no matter what."
"If Luffy fulfills his dream, he will age like Shanks and Garp. If he can't, then he will age like a miserable old man."
Luffy's expression didn't change much. Because he would definitely fulfill his dream.
Liam turned towards Nami and said.
"If you can't fulfill your dream, you will be asking for money, threatening others with your status by the age of forty."
"By the age of sixty, you will start selling fake goods for business to earn more money, going as far as doing dirty work for it, and I mean really dirty work."
Nami's expression froze, but Liam quickly continued.
"But of course, if you fulfill your dream, you will age just like Shakky. By the age of forty, you will still look like in your twenties. And by the age of sixty, you will barely look like a forty-year-old."
"There is one clear indication, though. If you age well, you will look like Bellmere. If you can't, well…"
He didn't need to say. Nami understood it too well.
Liam turned towards others and said.
"In other words, our dreams must be fulfilled. No matter how hard it becomes, we must go against the odds and accomplish our goals."
"Only then can we look forward to the future that we want. This is the true example of how our current actions determine our future."
Then, he looked at Luffy and chuckled.
"Of course, if Hancock did fall in love with you and if you don't respond to her love, she will go bad like soiled milk."
"I only love Robin."
Saying so, Luffy turned his head away.
He didn't like the idea of forcing himself to like someone.
Unfortunately, he didn't see the calculations going on in Robin's eyes.
From previous experience, Robin realized that she wouldn't be able to handle Luffy on her own.
"By the way, if you made changes in that world with your power, will it affect the crew?"
Zoro asked.
He was worried that he, in the other world, wouldn't be able to fulfill the role that Liam took.
Although he didn't need to do a lot of thinking like Liam, he didn't want to get left behind in strength.
"Don't worry, I have given him proper instructions. I left four papers in the hands of Jinbei. Two for Hancock and two for the crew."
"Since I have already invited Jinbe to join the crew in that world. In the note that he will pass to Hancock, I have returned everything he needed to know to improve his Devil Fruit and Haki."
"And, I also made a lot of improvements in his body. So, his body is far stronger than before. His Haki had also improved tremendously."
"With enough training, he will definitely surpass Emperor-level strength in two years."
"As for the crew, I have left this job to Jinbe. Since we don't know where they are, I left an instruction to use a Newspaper to tell the crew about the two-year training plan."
"But I also believe that Liam's training is the best option for us. So, I left different instructions for Jinbe. The newspaper will have 3D crossed out and 1Y written."
"A year should be more than enough for their training. Of course, some might not feel strong enough in six months, but I have left enough training plans for them to continue for the next year."
Hearing that, Sanji frowned and asked.
"Do you think others will follow these instructions?"
Remembering the early days, Luffy, he couldn't help but question.
Luffy gave him a reassuring smile and said.
"He is still me. I don't want to get separated from you guys. More importantly, just as I received his memories, he should've received my memories as well."
"He would definitely know how strong he needed to be if he wanted to sail again."
"Wow! That's a nice plan, Luffy."
Liam complimented him and continued.
"Without your plan, Sanji and Zoro would've gained the most in this break. Of course, their strength is what matters the most, but it is good to have other members get stronger as well."
"Zoro will be training with Hawkeye while Sanji will be training with Ivankov."
"Their training will make them stronger, but except for some individuals' skills, they can have more improvement training with each other."
"On the other hand, except for having a few more attacks, Nami, Usopp, Franky, and Chopper don't make much improvement in their strength."
"With your plan, at least, all of them will learn Haki within a year."
Luffy nodded his head and clenched his fist.
"I have done everything I can for myself. Now, I need to save my brother."
Saying so, he turned toward Liam and continued.
"It doesn't matter what the obstacle is, I will definitely come for you, Liam. Don't forget what you said earlier, Liam. Only completing our dreams makes our future better."
Despite looking reluctant, Liam smiled and said.
"I will be waiting for you, Captain."
