"Oh..." Four reacted, "Daddy said Brother Oskar needs to rest to get better, so everyone should stay quiet and not disturb his sleep..."
"Then what were you all doing just now... hmm?" Tara Summer pretended to put on a stern face, trying to frighten them.
Nine bit her lip and said nothing, while Four, bold yet careful, immediately promised Tara Summer, "Mommy, we'll be good and there won't be a next time!"
Upon hearing this, the maids around burst into low laughter. The phrase "there won't be a next time" is something the Young Madam often tells the two little ones, and it was surprising and adorable that the little master used it first today.
