"Alright, Mommy is a little lazy pig!" she said with a smile, her small face gentle.
Ose Owen watched, his thin lips curling up. He slowly walked over and ruffled his daughter's hair, "Raleigh, go play by yourself for a while, alright?"
"Okay." The little girl nodded obediently and then skipped out of the bedroom.
Ose Owen walked her to the door and locked it behind her as she left.
With a click, Crossley's eyelid twitched. She watched the tall figure of the man approaching, her heart pounding.
"Last night..." She backed up step by step, biting her lip, looking very nervous.
The man had his hands in his pockets, his lips slightly curved, saying nothing as he pressed closer, step by step, until he had her cornered.
Crossley's back was against the wall, her delicate brows tightly knit: "Ose, last night..."
