"Are you happy?" The man closed his eyes but wasn't asleep.
He tightened the arm around her waist, his broad hand gently caressing her waistline, the movement tender yet extremely suggestive.
Mabel Doyle patted his hand under the blanket, her tone unexpectedly helpless, "Not happy..."
"Not happy?" Bryan White propped himself up, turning on the bedside lamp. Under the soft golden light, the woman's face was especially beautiful, stirring him once more. He lowered his head and kissed the corner of her mouth.
Mabel didn't move, letting him kiss her. The man smiled, seeing her accept his kiss, grew even bolder, and flipped over to press her down...
"Get up!" With the lights on, Mabel saw the clock on the wall. Finding it was already noon, she pushed him away and sat up.
She lifted the blanket and got off the bed, but Bryan White's long arm reached out and pulled her back into his embrace, holding her tightly.
