"Can't I come in?" Walter Schmidt crossed his arms over his chest, watching her with a leisurely air.
Seeing her in such a good mood, she was practically beaming.
Emma Benson shook her head. "We're all women here. You, a big man, standing in the middle like this—it feels crowded, you're taking up space!"
"Heh heh…" The others burst out laughing. Only Crossley Gibson kept a calm expression as she asked Walter Schmidt, "You guys are done talking?"
"Yeah. Don't worry, it'll be resolved." Walter Schmidt's expression turned serious again.
The other women all looked puzzled. Kaitlyn Webb joked, "What were you men talking about in the study? What exactly needs resolving?"
Except for Crossley Gibson, none of them knew what the men had gathered to discuss, they just felt it was very secretive.
