"Mabel, mom isn't forbidding a name change, she's just not in favor of the name 'Little Lion'..."
"Not in favor, then how does she want me to change it? Bryan White, stop trying to comfort me. I know your mom prefers girls; she hopes her granddaughter will be gentle, virtuous, and noble, eventually becoming a lady of a prestigious family, so no matter what name I choose, she won't be satisfied!"
Mabel pushed him away again, then got up from the bed and paced back and forth in front of it, appearing quite anxious.
"How about we try to pick another name? Something that's a bit less bold?..." Bryan White crossed his arms; he truly found himself in a difficult position, unable to offend either side.
Mabel glared at him: "You know my personality and wishes very well; even if I change it, it's impossible for me to use a soft, feeble name!"
