Police arrived at the bridge and scanned the area that the attempted murder took place. Unfortunately, the culprit was no where to be found, afaan and Maryam had gone to help sudais save Farida and zaynerb got away. The police asked for her picture and information and promised to g

In less than twenty minutes after the crime had taken place, an ambulance had arrived at the scene and a rescue team rushed to the victim with a paramedic.
They met sudais giving her chest compressions. He was relieved when he saw them because he's been afraid of doing the chest compressions, he could end up breaking her ribs, and a broken rib can penetrate into her heart or lungs. They told him to stand aside while the try to save her.
A woman fell on her knees and placed her ear next to farida's mouth and nose to feel her breath but there was none.
Then she got a hold of her wrist and place her thumb on her veins to feel her pulse, there was no pulse. By now, sudais had his hand covering his mouth, Maryam was sobbing and Afaan was holding her steady.
The woman started a CPR, chest compressions. She place the heels of her palms on farida's chest and began pressing it down, making sure that she didn't break a rib. She would stop after she's pressed for a minute to feel her breath and after the third time, Farida took a sharp breath and started gagging and coughing. She opened her watery eyes and they woman carefully lifted her head so she could cough the water out and take a breath. Sudais rushed to her side and kneeled in front of her, he hugged her, placing her head on his chest as his own body shook, the thought of watching her die was driving her crazy.
A big grey towel was brought by a member of the rescue team to cover her with. When sudais saw that the man was trying to lift her from the floor, he told him that her body was still week, the two almost fought over it but the woman who saved her life intervened.
"Sir, we will have to take her with us. Her body is burning up m, she needs a medical attention. By the way, you have to come with us too, the police will ask for a statement." She explained to an angry sudais and he calmed down.
"Fine." He said and eyed the man.
He followed them into the ambulance and asked Afaan to inform her parents of what had happened and warn them to look out for zaynerb, in case she would want to hurt someone else.
Dozens of cameras ckicked as reporters record the event.
Farida was made to lay on a stretcher ( the bed in an ambulance) while sudais sat beside her and watched her sleep. In about thirty minutes, the reached the hospital and her stretcher was dragged inside a ward for the VIPs which sudais paid for.
A doctor took some blood samples and went out, leaving the two of them alone. Sudais used that time as an opportunity to apologize for what he's done to her. He wanted to hold her hand, but then he remembered that she was no longer his wife, she would soon belong to someone else and he will have to accept it and move on.
Sudais stood and walked to the door to avoid looking at her, but he stopped when she called his name. He turned around and saw that she was already looking at him.
"I forgive you. But it's too late." She said to him, her tired eyes looked at him with compassion. Now she could remember her dearest person, although she made a promise to marry Fahad.
"I know, I guess that's what I deserve. Thank you for forgiving me." Sudais said and left immediately, not wanting her to see his tears.
She wanted to call him back and tell him to stay, she opened her mouth but nothing came out. She watched him walk away from the see through door, away from her life. Sudais did not plan on coming back, he sacrificed his love to make everyone happy, especially her. Fahad was a great person, he'd never hurt her the way sudais did.
Her eyes stung as tears threatened to fall, she tried to push it back but it was more than she could control. She sobbed loudly and held her heart to stop the pain of separating with her love.
The door knob clicked, she was so lost in her misery that she didn't notice someone approaching. She started to wipe the tears frantically but Fahad had already seen them. He went closer to her and sat on the chair sudais was sitting on a while ago. He did not say a word to her, Seema had already explained to him that sudais was farida's ex husband, but she could not remember because she lost her memories.
"It's okay." Was all he said to her, which made her cry louder, she knew it was not okay and no one could understand what she was feeling at the moment.
Sudais stepped outside the hospital and saw her parents coming, Seema eyed him warily before walking pass him. Afaan and Maryam stepped out of their car and approached sudais.
"How is she?" Maryam asked.
"She's fine...she's awake." Sudais replied and went away. Afaan told Maryam to go see Farida while he consoled his brother.
On the next day, it was said on the news that zaynerb had been caught at the airport while she was trying to flee to Egypt. Aysha called sudais and asked him to return home and her heart broke when she learned that Afaan had married Maryam without her consent. She told him " you are in big trouble young man." And they both laughed at her.
Sudais and Afaan returned to Dubai with the new bride to face their mother's wrath.
Farida and her family went back to London. After the accident, she only spoke once and that was when she spoke to sudais. Everyone around her tried to make her say something, but she'd just burst into tears and leave their sights. After that, she'd lay down in her room and refuse to eat anything until her mother begged her to eat.
One day, she was caught eating raw pepper, then they took her to her therapist and he advised then to admit her to Broadmoor psychiatric hospital again. She stayed there for two month before she was able to say one word and that was sudais's name.
Fahad hated to see her like that, he called off their engagement with a heavy heart. It was a sacrifice he had to make to make her happy again.
Azrah and ajwad were told that sudais was their father and Seema had no other choice but to accept the fact that her daughter will not get better if she doesn't see sudais everyday.
Ali personally called sudais's number and told him to a dowry take his wife back but Aysha was not ready to accept it. Thankfully, Mr sagir, sudais's father intervened and gave sudais his consent. Sudais was happy, it was hard for him to believe that she was going to come back to him again.
A month after Farida was discharged from the hospital, the marriage nikah took place there in London and a lot of Arabian celebrations took place in Dubai. A ceremony was arranged for Afaan and Maryam to celebrate their union too.
Farida remembered their beautiful home as soon as she stepped inside,
she was overjoyed and the twins loved the house, especially ajwad who loved to play with gadgets, something he got from his father.
Fahad gifted Farida a brand new Mercedes Benz SLR uhlenhaut coupe, it was bought at the price of $143 million. The currently most expensive car in the world. Ajwad was the first to get inside.
Farida suggested to Fahad that him and willow should get together and he decided to give it a try after taking a week of convincing from farida. A month later, Fahad and willow tied the knot and willow's name was changed to "widad" after she converted, but a lot of times, he would rather call her "willow" he said the name amused him.
Farida's coworkers from Elliott and sons visited during holidays and spent a week in Dubai at sudais and farida's home and sudais didn't complain about it, even though she was too occupied to spare him some time.
Sudais reminded her to do her yoga every morning and night and some meditation after bath, as advised by the doctor. He surrounded the house with humidifiers to keep her feeling alive at all times.
Sudais enrolled his children into his private school there in Dubai, where they learnt Islamic and modern knowledge all together.
Later, him and his wife visited Makkah to perform their Hajj.
Sudais took care of her, even in her madness. Sometimes she would get angry and say mean things to him but he never took them to heart, he knew she wasn't herself at that time. He kept tolerating her and taking care of the children until she was completely healed of the insanity.
Aysha finally accepted Farida when she got to know her. She got the modern, religious and talented daughter in-law she's always wanted. Farida took path in sudais's business and she did very well, communicating with the Arab business partners was easy for her, she had learned everything about Arabic in less than a year.
Nazmeerah (sudais's sister) and farida got along well, they always went shopping together on the weekends and farida always made sure she paid for everything, something nazmeerah loved about her.
Maryam and Afaan had a baby boy, they named him after fahad's father. The name wad "Fawad" and Fahad was happy about it and gifted the baby half of the share of his business.
Jasmine loved the child so much, Afaan and Maryam agreed to give the child to her when he turned five. Fawad loved it in London, he often visited Seema and Ali at their home.
They organized a family reunion in London and the sagirs all went there, including Aysha and her sister marwa. She was surprised to find zaynerb at seema's house, sudais revealed that Farida had withdrawn her complaint against zaynerb and she was released. Zaynerb was taken to the same psychiatric hospital Farida was admitted to, they said that her obsession to marry sudais was all because of a mental illness, Fahad paid for her treatment and she got better. Zaynerb was too ashamed to go back home and begged Seema to let her stay and Seema generously gave her consent, saying "Everyone deserves a second chance."
And so they became one big happy family, despite the lots of twists in their fates.
Farida smiled at the big picture on the wall of their living room.
"My fate really is a twisted one." She said and a fit of laughter was heard.
