After cleaning the kittens, the mother cat will guide them to nurse.
At this time, the kittens' eyes are closed, and they only know how to eat. They can't even defecate without the mother cat licking their behinds to prompt them.
For three consecutive days, the mother cat stays inside with her kittens and doesn't go anywhere.
After three days, when the kittens quickly double in weight and learn to huddle together for warmth, the mother cat, now much thinner, will finally come out of the birthing room to search for food.
During this period, it's important not to open the tent to look at the kittens.
Because the mother cat will feel unsafe, and she might painfully carry the kittens out to find a new place, but such an environment is certainly not as secure as the birthing room.
So now, everyone has learned from experience not to disturb them, only placing some food at the warehouse door.
When the mother cat comes out, she can find it.
