When I returned back to the inn, I was a little surprised to see Katsuki there to welcome me.
"Welcome back, Mistress. Did you have a good day out?"
She's going to pretend like nothing happened I see.
"Did we find out anything from our new friends from the underground?"
She bowed again, "Yes, Mistress. We have confirmed that they belong to the group that were seeking to summon the Demon Lord to this World and were the ones responsible for distributing the pendants that were meant to act as gateways to link our World to theirs. Unfortunately, they are only footsoldiers and not executives so they were acting under orders as well and do not know the inner workings that well."
I hummed, "Anything else we learned? Do they have other hideouts or members operating inside the city? Maybe even what they call themselves?"
"Yes. They refer to themselves as The Requiem. From what they know, they are the only cell operating inside this city."
