Xiao Chong chuckled softly and said, "Shall we have a midnight snack first? Come to my house, I'll cook for us."
Lin Wanwan was still hesitating when Xiao Chong, without giving her a chance to refuse, reached out boldly to pull her by the wrist and said, "Let's go."
Lin Wanwan quickly put down the bag she was holding, closed the door, and followed Xiao Chong out.
Today, Lin's grandpa wasn't at home, so there was no one to watch over them.
The two of them passed through the wooden gate in the fence and walked along the newly paved cobblestone path, taking just a few steps to get to Xiao Chong's home.
Eating a midnight snack every day hadn't caused either of them to gain weight. Studying was exhausting, and they were not home until 9:30 PM every day.
"Wanwan, it's Christmas Eve. How about roast turkey and chocolate?" Xiao Chong said as he pulled Lin Wanwan into the kitchen and took ingredients out of the fridge.
