Elise Don took out her phone and brought up the recordings inside. There were three clips in total, none longer than five minutes. They played in sequence: from Townsend telling her to stop in front of the Red Mansion, to asking her to go to his office, and then today when he called her to his apartment.
Townsend's face went completely stiff.
Elise Don: "Professor Townsend has been forcing me to be his teaching assistant. I refused, and he kept pestering me. After I explicitly rejected him, he used my thesis as a final threat, and then today's incident occurred."
Since James's reminder, Elise Don had secretly recorded every meeting with Townsend to gather evidence of sexual harassment.
She didn't want to end up like the previous girl, suffering in silence with nowhere to plead her case.
