"Why are you standing there? Go cook something." A little boy's voice can be heard saying. That voice belongs to her younger adopted brother, Wang Yu Jin. He is twelve this year, not yet an adolescent. But he has a proud and arrogant look on his face.
She ignores him and enters the kitchen. In the kitchen, she sees her adopted mother, Madam Wang. Madam Wang or Shi Xen was smiling at her. " Hurry and make breakfast. We're all hungry."
Even though her face was smiling her eyes were not. Yu Qi is nothing in her eyes. She had a motive when she adopted her. Since Yu Qi was not her daughter, she saw nothing wrong with treating her like this. Yu Qi knew what Madam Wang thought. She never treated her the way a mother was supposed to treat her daughter. She was ignorant in her past life. She just thought that her mother's character was strict.
She started preparing breakfast. 'If you guys are so hungry why don't you cook for yourselves? And isn't Madam Wang the mother, shouldn't she be the one doing the cooking.' She has never seen Madam Wang cooking before. She remembers that ever since she was four she has been the one preparing the meals at home. At that time they were a family of four.
After finishing breakfast she called Madam Wang. Madam Wang then called her family. They sat and ate breakfast without Yu Qi. Yu Qi never sat with them. It was always like this. The table had five chairs and their family had six people. So she was always left out. In her previous life, she thought that this was okay. She never thought that they didn't consider her as a part of their family.
She goes to the kitchen and eats her breakfast. Sensing someone entering the kitchen she turns around to see who. In front of her appeared a girl, with a beautiful oval face and fair skin, Wang Fu Ya. She is the eldest daughter of the Wang family if you exclude Yu Qi. She is also turning sixteen this year, the same as Yu Qi.
"Tomorrow we have to submit an essay. Help me, okay." Wang Fu Ya smiled while requesting this.
Without responding to her request, Yu Qi slightly narrows her eyes and silently stares at her. Being stared at like that Wang Fu Ya feels that something is wrong. She looks at Yu Qi's eyes, they were void of any emotion. She feels as if Yu Qi is staring deep into her soul making her quite scared. As she takes a step back Yu Qi smiles and nods at her as if nothing had happened.
Wang Fu Ya snorted, 'this fool will always be a fool.' She has always known Yu Qi is not her blood sister. She was just an adopted daughter. Her mother told her six years ago. This is why she never considered Yu Qi a part of her family. Yu Qi was just a servant for her to use. She leaves the kitchen with a small smile on her face.
Yu Qi also left the kitchen to go to her room. On the way someone blocks her. It was her adopted father Mr. Wang or Wang Bai Ye. He always smiled provocatively at her. He always wanted to have a taste of her. He almost succeeded once in her previous life if not for his wife interfering.
Yu Qi looks sharply at her adopted father and asks "Yes?"
Sensing his wife looking at him he says, "Nothing, my dear." and leaves.
Yu Qi knows her adopted mother is eyeing her adopted father. 'Perverted man.' She enters her room.
