Kotori ran through the ruins of Soul Society as she was being followed by Rukia and Kenpachi who wasn't far. She wasn't in any danger from the two. Oh no, she was doing something else. Something she never thought she'd do in a million years.
"Don't you dare do anything stupid." Kotori muttered to herself, racing through the ruins.
Rukia was getting pissed, Kotori wouldn't stop for a second to let her know what the rush was. "Hey! What's going on? Answer me!"
Kotori ignored Rukia's shouting as she clinched both of her fists, her mind was racing with the many different outcomes of her being late to the scene of the battle. Of course she knew Uryu wasn't anywhere near the location her and Scarlet were at. But all that could change over time, she scanned around carefully to see if she could recall where the battle between her and Bambietta had taken place, so much buildings had crumbled and toppled over. Making it harder to pin point the location. "Come on, where is it?"
Rukia growled and gritted her teeth, she was hating how Kotori was evading her question. Suddenly, Kotori comes to a stop, she begins to swat at the air and starts shaking her clothes, at first Rukia was puzzled about what she was doing, then she heard movement from nearby. Quickly gripping her zanpakuto, Rukia speaks out, not to Kotori and not to Kenpachi, but out to anyone within hearing range of her. "Might as well come out of hiding...."
Kenpachi stopped in his tracks as he also took notice of the way Kotori had been acting. He didn't see anything around her or on her, which made him curious. "Either we have company. Or she's gone crazy."
"Well, I guess it didn't take long for you to notice me." As Nodt spoke from the shadows and stepped out towards the three. "It looks like I've trapped your friend in a fear they cannot escape. One they will never realize it isn't real."
Kenpachi smirked. "A Quincy that can show his enemies what they fear the most? Interesting." He chuckled. "Listen up Rukia, get the kid. Snap her out of it, whatever she was going after or wherever she was going. See to it that she gets there."
Rukia wanted to protest, she didn't know exactly where Kotori was going, but she grabbed Kotori's arm. "Don't you dare die on us, you here?" With that said, she ran off in whatever direction she assumed Kotori needed to go.
"Oh, don't you worry about me." Kenpachi spoke with a small grin. "I can handle myself."
As Nodt watched as Rukia ran off with Kotori, his gaze lingering on the two before turning his attention towards Kenpachi. "A foolish mistake...no matter, I'll make your death quick and painless, say your prayers old man."

Rukia ran with Kotori, who was still in a shock of fear from the power As Nodt used on her. But the cold icy touch from Rukai's own power sent a cold awakening from Kotori. The Flame spirit shook her head as she noticed what she was seeing wasn't there, she pulled her hand away from Rukia's as she glanced around the area.
"Finally, now that you're back. You have some explaining to do." Rukia spoke crossing her arms. "What the hell was that all about?"
Kotori, groaned as she put a hand on her hip, she gave Rukia a stern look. "If you must know, my partner, as you put it. She's...how do I put this? A killer, if Uryu crosses her path. She may not hold back and kill him, he is your friend isn't he?"
"Is, and still will be. That's why I hope and pray that Ichigo can get through to him and have him see is wrong choices for this. But if what you're saying is true, then why didn't you say so to begin with?" Rukia asked tapping her foot.
Kotori turned as she spoke. "It just dawned on me when Renji mentioned Uryu, trust me. Scarlet isn't anyone who would go easy on anyone." She turned her head to Rukia."That's why I need to get back and find her before Uryu is next."
Rukia took a moment to think over Kotori's words. "Alright, fine. Let's go look, I'm not exactly sure where exactly Uryu is right now..Somewhere here, but his exact location is unknown. But we should hurry, in case that other Quincy Kenpachi is fighting comes this way."
Kotori nodded lightly as she resumed her search. "If I can find out where Bambietta's corpse is at, then I know we're close to the area. I just hope we're not too late." The Flame spirit kept her pace up as her walking became quick and turned into a jog.
"That, and we also have to make sure we don't run into any more trouble on the way there." Rukia spoke as she followed Kotori.
Kotori didn't say anything else to Rukia. She had a determined look on her face, her focus on the task at hand. She did mumble under her breath however. "If it were the other way around, Scarlet would have been to the location by now. But...unlike her, I don't have a strong nose to pick up anyone's scent."
Rukia raised an eyebrow up as she stepped next to Kotori. "Did you say something?"
Kotori shook her head. "No, just talking to myself." She answered. "But, I'm trying to retrace my steps. There should be something worth noting...something that can tell us where we need to go.." As she spoke, a metallic irony smell filled both hers and Rukia's noses. "And speaking of which. That right there...is what I wasn't expecting to smell."
Rukia knew that smell was the smell of blood, it lingered in the air. It turned her stomach at how strong the smell was, but for Kotori. She knew they were getting closer, but how close?

As Nodt stood on guard, he stared down Kenpachi as the two were locked down in a stand off. Not a single of them were moving an inch, Kenpachi wore a smirk on his face and chuckled under his breath.
"So, we're just gonna stand here all day or what? I'm itching for a fight. And I hope you don't disappoint." Kenpachi spoke, his hand tightening on the handle of his zanpakuto. "If not, then you're just wasting my time."
Standing there silently As Nodt summoned his Reishi Thorns, which were just arrow heads. There were four or five hovering around him. Then he spoke. "Wasting time? Perhaps. Not for us no...."
Kenpachi took this info and processed it in his head. His smirk faltered into a frown. "Ah, I see...you're just a distraction. Wanting to split us off, is that it? Well....Looks like the fun is just about to start."
As the two were about to start in a clash, Kenpachi felt a huge spiritual presence. The air felt heavy, like a ton of weights were being pushed down upon him. This huge surge of energy, it was dark....darker than normal. Where was it coming from? Who was it coming from? Questions ran through Kenpachi's head. He felt the thrill of a heated battle building up in his very core.
"Ah...so the master is finally making his move." As Nodt spoke.
Kenpachi raised an eyebrow up. Who was As Nodt referring to. "Your master? Who the fuck is your master?"
As Nodt chuckled. "Yhwach, the father of all Quincy's and the monarch of the Wandenreich."
Yhwach's huge spiritual presence shook the entire Soul Society. The rubble and the debris of the fallen buildings shook and cracked. Kotori lost her footing as she face planted on the ground and Rukia stumbled, this power was big..even Scarlet could feel this. She stumbled and tried to regain her footing. Liltotto and Meninas knew who it was coming from. But they didn't say a single word, Liltotto's stretched out mouth loomed over Scarlet as she was ready to take a bite out of the Grimm girl.
"The hell?" Scarlet grumbled as she stumbled, trying to keep her footing on the ground. "This feels much more darker than my mothers presence. Who the fuck is harboring this much power?"
Meninas giggled and looked towards Liltotto. "Should we tell her?"
"Nah." Liltotto spoke. "We have our own job to do, let's deal with her quickly, then we can move onto another target."
Scarlet growled as she gritted her teeth, she was getting pissed off. Not only was she stuck between a rock and a hard place. She hissed angrily, the air soon steadied itself then the sky began to darken. Scarlet's stomach knotted up. An uneasy feeling made itself known in the pit of her stomach, sure she wasn't scared easily. But this was something more, something new. But before Scarlet could even react or even use her semblance. Liltotto's stretched out mouth opened wide and clamped down shut over her torso, tearing her in half.
Scarlet's lower body sprayed blood into the air, her body fell over as her blood began to pool under her lower half. When Kotori and Rukia got to the area, Kotori and Rukia froze in place. Yeah sure, Kotori knew it wouldn't be that easy to kill Scarlet, but Rukia didn't. Kotori clinched her fists as her crimson red eyes glowed. "You two are going to be in a world of pain...."
Meninas glanced over seeing the two, she tilts her head and puts a finger up to her lower lip. "Oh? Did you know her? Oh well, she's dead now. You should've been here quicker to save her."
