Cosmo woke up at around 6 AM and readied himself for the day. Once the clock hit 6:15, Cosmo went down to prepare to open the shop. Cosmo checked the counter area and the stock of supplies.
As he was getting ready to open the Cafe. he thought to himself and then asked the system "Should I not have a bodyguard or some type of security to protect me? What If there are situations like in novels where some arrogant people show up and cause problems for the main characters?"
The system replied saying "Host has brought up a suggestion, the system shall review your request and its validity to be approved"
"Well this will have to do, only time will tell if the system would even let me get a bodyguard?" said Cosmo in a resigned voice.
Cosmo went to turn over the closed sign to open and opened the shades to suddenly be greeted by Jushein and two other people next to him. The man left of Jushein looked like a middle-aged man who also had grey eyes and a few gray hairs on his head. The one on the right looked like a more younger man who had strong black colored hair and brown eyes.
After Cosmo analyzed the looks of these new guests, Jushein spoke "Ah good morning brother Cosmo, what a beautiful morning it is today". Cosmo replied indifferently "Let's skip the banalities and get straight to it, what do you want?"
Jushein's face turned slightly red from embarrassment, "Ah I apologize, I am here to share the marvels of coffee with my friends here. The one on the left is Boribon, and the one on the right is Preaw. They both are members of my Shein Chamber of Commerce".
"I see, well the more the merrier," said Cosmo with no change in tone.
At the same time, while Jushein was introducing them, Boribon and Preaw were surprised by Jusheins demeanor. They were both friends and subordinates to Jushein and were surprised to see this friend of theirs who was the leader of the Shein Chamber of Commerce was acting like a child being respectful to an elder.
Cosmo went back inside while Jushein gestured towards Preaw and Boribon to follow him inside. They looked inside to see that its appearance did not meet their expectation after hearing what Jushein told them about the cafe. It didn't look remarkable but average; the tables looked like standard tables and the chairs looked like regular chairs.
While the two of them were gawking at the store's appearance, Jushein spoke up breaking them out of their own world. "Brother Cosmo, I would like to order 3 Lattes with the flying bird artistry on it, the tab is on me"
Preaw and Boribon all rejoiced, including Cosmo. Preaw and Boribon get to try this highly rated drink by Jushein for free and Cosmo rejoiced since he was almost done with his mission. "Now I only needed them to come again tomorrow or someone new to come and buy a drink today"
Cosmo hid his joy and replied as usual "Coming right up". Cosmo went behind the counter and worked to make the Lattes. As Cosmo was working the three of them talked amongst themselves.
A bald man with a burly physique in a green robe chanced by the cafe, he looked at the name and scoffed. What is a cafe? And to dare even use the word immortal in its name, how arrogant, let me see what this place is worth. He walked in to see the regular and ordinary chairs and tables, this brought his view of this cafe even lower. Afterward, he saw three people, one young, and two slightly older people talking with each other, but he ignored them. He then proceeded to look at the menu board and felt like he had a heart attack when he saw these prices. The bald man roared internally "What are these prices! Even the best restaurant in the capital doesn't charge this much, and these items here cost more than that!".
The bald man calmed himself and then went to order, "I would like to order an Americano". Cosmo replied back "What's your name?". The bald man replied "Som". Alright Som, your Americano will be coming right up".
Som went to a table and sat down waiting to receive his order
Cosmo went to make the four shots of espresso and heated some milk and water and steamed some milk for the Lattes. While all that happened Cosmo grabbed charger cups and four charger plates. He put three of the cups and plates on a tray and left the rest aside.
Cosmo heard a beep from the espresso machine and grabbed the espresso and poured one shot of espresso into the 3 cups. Cosmo put aside the last espresso for later. Cosmo then grabbed the pot of heated milk and poured it into the 3 cups with espresso. After this, he mixed the contents together and moved on to the last step; Cosmo grabbed the steamed milk and skillfully poured it into each cup to make the flying bird appear on each Latte. Cosmo went and carefully brought the Lattes to the trio's table.
"Here's your Lattes, enjoy," said Cosmo as he went back to the counter to make the Americano. Preaw and Boribon inspected the Latte in surprise just as Jushein was yesterday when he saw the flying bird on the Latte. Boribon was the first to speak up as he asked Jushein "What is this? In all my life I have not seen any drink that has ever had art on it". Jushein answered, "It is a Latte, this is a magnificent drink, the taste is rich, and it can even improve your cultivation!". Preaw and Boribons mouths both were wide open as they just found out that in this small cup was a drink that could help their Cultivation.
Cultivation was not an easy journey, Preaw was a late-stage rank 3 cultivator, while Boribon was a rank 4 mid-stage cultivator. At their current level cultivation required time and only pills, arrays, and elixirs could only help increase cultivation speed.
Preaw and Boribon grabbed their cups delicately and slowly savored and enjoyed the smoking hot coffee. While they were drinking, they both saw their dantian's being filled up with Qi. Marvelous! you weren't pulling our legs!" said Boribon. Preaw interjected right after saying "We must come here every day, the amount of Qi that has filled my dantian is equivalent to a few days of cultivation!"
